The electric guitar has been around since the '30s. It has evolved a long way over the decades forging the birth of rock and roll and becoming a mainstay in almost all pop contemporary music. Music trends may change but the electric guitar still remains very much a part of pop culture.

Come check out the range of Michael Kelly electric guitars on display alongside the latest amps and gear from Boss and Roland this September 30th and October 1st. There will be a selection of electric and acoustic guitars on exhibit and also the latest amps and effect from Boss and Roland for your testing pleasure.

Featuring workshop / performances by:
Fadzil GB Wahab (ex-guitarist from Hydra)
Fadzil is a veteran to the Malaysian music scene. A very versatile and experienced guitarist in his own right. He has been performing professionally since the early 90s in the club circuit with countless top pub bands. He has also recorded 3 albums with Flying Colours under the FMC record label and a single and an EP with Hydra.


Lemongrass
Kelvyn Yeang is a regular name in guitar circles. Having forged a reputation for being an innovative player as well as a creative song writer with his band. Teaming up with Annie Wong, a lass with a sweet disposition, together they are Lemongrass. The duo delivers popular tunes spliced with unique arrangements and live improvisations.


LK Wong
No stranger to the ever changing local indie music scene, Wong started his beginnings as an electric guitarist in a progressive rock band. These days his music takes on a much more concise and simple approach. A multi-instrumentalist out of necessity, he has the ability to paint sounds with whatever instruments he may get his hands on. In 2015, he released his first solo EP called Vulcan Sunset (self-produced) where he blends his love for synthesizers with his blues rock guitar roots.


Kelvyn Yeang (guitarist)
Lead guitarist for Ocean of Fire and various projects. Kelvyn works teaching and performing on his guitar professionally and conducting workshops across the country. Coming from a rock background , he lends most of his rock flavour to the bands he is in. Currently he is immersed in jazz and fusion.
